Maestro (modules/maestro) is an independently installable, freezing-path C++26 presence authority. It records exact authenticated vector-engine docking relationships per TOPS and receptor and derives a complete read-only inventory of what is currently docked. Maestro is a witness, not a supervisor.

What Maestro records

  • Exact authenticated docking relationships between vector engines and receptors
  • Per-TOPS scoping so each installation’s presence stays private to that installation
  • A derived, complete, read-only inventory available through qxctl maestro inventory

What Maestro does not do

Maestro does not start, schedule, supervise, or invoke engines. Binding, reconciliation, authenticated-session coordination, or a lifecycle plan alone does not establish Maestro presence, ratify semantic truth, mutate canonical knowledge, or prove installed-host completeness.
  • Maestro creates no processes.
  • Maestro never applies canonical knowledge changes.
  • Maestro never replaces the vector engine that owns the semantics.

qxctl maestro

qxctl maestro inventory presents the derived inventory.

Session coordinator

Owns authenticated-session and worktree-reconciliation mechanics.

SSIAG

Authenticates the docking relationships Maestro records.
